Question Taxis to Elite Missions?

Hi,

I have been to both Cavalon and HzH over the weekend. I noticed the use of the word 'Taxi' quite often. I just wanted to make sure that I know what the definition of 'Taxi' is. I am guessing it is a PUG which has at least one member of the controling alliance, that is offering to take a group to the elite mission (either in HzH or Cavalon)...am I correct? If so what is the amount that ppl are usually asking as an entrance fee?

I also noticed that TC in Cavalon and Orks in HzH have been offering them for free. I haven't been to the elite missions yet but hopefully I can catch a free taxi tonight! Thanks guys! Hopefully future 'owners' of Cavalon and HzH will also be so generous.

yep a taxi is to the elite missions

a group is formed with the leader being a member of the contrlling alliance that takes players over to the mission. The person will say if it is for free or for a fee so just pay attention to that.

There are two ways to be "taxied" to the elite missions.

1) A guildie that already has a character already in the elite mission. Meet each other in guild hall and he/she can warp you.

2) Go to Cavalon or House and join a group going.

TC's politics is NOT to charge to take you to the Deep. However, as the allaince has over 500 members, it may happen that someone tried to charge. Never join someone asking for money, and let the other members of the alliance know about that.

Actually, most of the members of TC use the word "ferry" instead. Taxi is not the best description, since i've never seen a taxi not mettered

Please note: You'll be taken to a "outpost" where you can make an actual party to join the mission.

IDK. I would not mind a moderate charge for this service. something along the lines of 1k a trip, similar to underworld. except per Player... Certainly not to much more then that... Maybe an Amber or a Jaditte for access... IDK... OHHH.. how about one of the Elite Keys!!! Then the Ferry person never has to buy a key. lol and guests can get them for free with totems or Equipment requisitions. lol What an interesting concept... Then the guest can buy those keys again from NPCs in the staging area once there... Interesting....

However its very nice to see Alliances also ferry guests to the area for free as well... Call it a pleasant surprise... I'm sure this is cause they want to play it on occasion too and may have trouble getting a party together to go unless they invite some guests from time to time.

This only works if the character being warped has been to the elite mission before. You need a taxi/ferry once before this will work.
